WHAT WE DO
Uniting in Care Salisbury provides financial or material aid to assist people living in the Salisbury City Council area who are experiencing financial hardship resulting from their current life situation or an unexpected crisis event.
ABOUT US
Uniting in Care Salisbury is a non-profit charitable community organisation funded by the Federal Department of Social Services to provide Emergency Relief services.
Uniting in Care Salisbury Inc. began operating in the early 90’s. There have been many changes over that period but the one thing that has not changed is the “cry for help” from the community which the staff and volunteers manage each day.
Uniting in Care Salisbury is truly blessed with willing volunteers who work in the various programs to assist those needy individuals and families who call in to the office for emergency food parcels, enjoy morning tea every Wednesday, and share a free lunch on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.
This is an important service and an equally important outreach for the local community. We pray that God will continue to bless those we serve, our workers and the contributors who donate money, toys and food items without which we would not be able to reach and help as many people as we do.
